Farmers Insurance Open

The Farmers Insurance Open is a popular PGA golf tournament. It has been played yearly from 1952, although it was originally known as the San Diego Open. San Diego Black Film Festival

The San Diego Black Film Festival is one of the largest festivals of its kind n the country. It was founded in 2003 and has featured famous names, such as Jay-Z. Street Scene Music Festival

This festival ran from the 1980’s until 2009. It featured a variety of different musical genres and acts, including blues, rock, and hip hop. In 2010 the concert was canceled because of a massive drop in attendance. The future of this festival remains questionable, but those who love music still enjoy coming to San Diego to experience all that the city has to offer the musical scene.
